I don’t usually do backgrounds but I wanted to try using
negative space in a similar way to a Japanese painting that I saw a little
while ago.

New Artwork
As you can see, I’ve been working on my figure drawing
lately. Ten years ago, when I was really into anime, figure drawing was
basically all that I did. Maybe you can still see the anime influence in
profile:
